Bridges Math: Hand book entries and Problem Strings

Over the last couple of weeks we have been adding much math vocabulary to our Math Handbooks. Many of you may have seen them at Student Success Night. Here are some examples of our Handbooks.

We did a Problem String using an Over Strategy. 

This week we had an end of Unit 1 Assessment. Students worked VERY hard on it, and it was amazing to see their progress. On Friday we started Unit 2 with work on how what we know about Money can help us solve both fraction and division problems. We did some work with money value cards, and a problem string. Here are examples of the work we did.
